Square Foot Gardening List - http://myweb.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Fantastic links Trudi! I wish I would have thought of 3 sisters- I have all
three things in the garden but they are all separated and after reading some
of the folklore regarding the three sisters- I am feeling guilty for keeping
them separated- they must be lonely for each other!I wonder if I could just
plop a bean plant and a squash plant near the corn or perhaps the
sunflowers- they are 4 feet tall now- do you think it is too late? I am in
zone 9 northern CA -we will have indian summer and no cold weather until the
begiining of November.
I did vegie sex this morning with my patty pans.(they just turned over and
went to sleep afterwards- I hate that)I am getting some fruits but not as
many as the plants are wanting to make-how could I have been half-assed
gardening with flowers all these years and missed so much about how mother
nature works?!! Duh! Just goes to show that even if you do it all wrong-
things are still bound to grow in spite of your ignorance. I never thought I
would be looking around hoping for bees to show up but I am! LOL!Enjoyed
your pictures a while back by the way-what a great yard.-Teri
