Olin........The method is for "WINTER SOWN" flats of seeds, not Fall
Sown. If you sow to early you can risk the seeds germinating during
Indian Summer. I am in zone seven and it's unwise to start sowing the
outdoor flats before the middle of December. A good time is the after
holiday lull when the kids go back to school and you're staring out the
window wondering what to do until Spring.
