Hello Group: 1. Has anyone had experience with Tomatillo? Mine is very large, has lots of pale yellow bulbs turning slowly into flowers. I was offended to see Cucumber beetles thrilled with the Tomatillo and "making love" on my plants. They had deposited new worms, one per leave on a particular section which died off by an aplication of BT. 2. My basil has dark brown circles on the upper leaf. Any ideas? 3. What is the proper way to harvest peas so that additional peas will grow? I plucked the peas off right under the flower top and the flower top turned pale yellow as well as the stem. Should I trim the stems back to any particular point? It could just be too hot here now. We've been getting to 90-93 at mid day. 4. I'm growing Packman Broccoli and the cells on the head are a bit open (it seems) immediately. They taste great but I thought the cells should remain tight (like in the store) and you pick them before they start to open. 5. I've planted several herbs as companions in my squares. Some of them are doing great and I'd like to transplant them to my herb garden. Is this feasible? Camomile, dill, lovage, wormwood, basil, borage ... 6. I've planted red and orange bell peppers in one square and a jalapeno in another. My red bells are shaped very long and thin. The jalapeno hasn't done much yet. Is it possible that the jalapeno had cross polinated with the red bell already? 7. Is there anywhere you can get pictures of vegetables in their various stages of growth? I'd love to see seedlings, first true leaves and other photos. Thanks for all your help.
