My Zucchini is wilting!

Hi everyone,

The outer leaves on my zucchini plant is all wilted meanwhile the
innermost leaves are still looking healthy, has my plant been attacked
by a bug of some kind? The plant looks as though it hasn't been watered
for days even though I just watered it last night.  What kind of bug
could this be? A squash vine borer? Should I pull up this plant and
reseed the area? Any help is greatly appreciated, we only got to harvest
three zucchini and the thought of having to buy them from a store is
making me sick. That's what I get for just planting one!<grin>
