brown spots on cukes

hello everyone,

this is my first time to post to the list. i have a fifteen square, square
foot garden in zone 7 in Oklahoma. this is my 3rd year to have it and i really
enjoy it. 

i have 4 cucumber plants and they all have the same problem: on their lower
leaves the get yellow/brown spots then the leaves turn yellow and fall off.
the plant still puts off fruit futher up the vine, but if there is any fruit
where the leaves die it dies too. 

can someone tell me what kind of fungus this is and how to treat it. last year
it killed my whole cucumber crop.
