That sounds suspicously like were I used to live in West Texas - San
Angelo.  Are you near there?

Now I'm up in NY state, where the biggest problem I've been having is too
much rain.  However, my SFG is doing great!  This is the first time I've
ever tried it and I can't believe the results.  I know what kind of
gardening I'll be doing next year!

BTW, in response to someone elses message about what kind of soil to use, I
have to confess I skipped that part of the book, and I used 2/3 topsoil to
1/3 composted cow manure, with excellent luck.  Beginners luck!  (Or, "The
Lord watches out for fools and children.")  :-)
