Fake lady beatles?/how much epsom salts

Is there such a thing as a faded out barely spotted(line divides the body in 
half vertically)white masked(with markings making two eyes, a spot for a nose 
and a turned down mouth--making a sad as aposed to happy face)face? It is the 
same size and shape as a lady bug, but it looks pretty counterfeit to moi.  
Never seen one before today.  Is it friend or foe?  I know it's hot here, but 
I didn't think it could bleach out and put a sad face on a lady bug.
Also:  I missed the amout of epsom salts you use for pepping up peppers and 
what if anything else you use with it besides water and how much of that.
