Help,
This year many many veggies are comming up and immediately going to seed.
Doesn't seem to matter whether they we planted in the cool wet early spring
or the later warm to hot whether. And Zooooh, I think it might be that I
added too much of something or my soil lacks something. Any clues? I put a
lot of composted steer stuff, vermiculite, pearlite, a little amonium
sulfite, peatmoss and homemade compost into mostly clay(improved in some beds
with sand)soil and mulched with grass clippings, grape and horseradish
leaves(anything I could cut off to use since we have very little of our own
grass now and can't use the neighbors grass due to weed n feed etc.) Oh, and
I had sprinkled aroud some Ironite a month ago because of all the rain and
yellowing leaves. I used some pine shaving as mulch in some areas(not the
ones where the plants are bolting).
Also my tomatoes, peppers etc. are small and flowering and setting fruit. I
mean to say they are tiny little plants.
Hats it. Can anyone suggest what my soil might need"
