Look at Virtual Garden at www.vg.com to find your zone.  They'll tell
you by zip code or my different cities in the state you specify. 
They'll also tell you your last frost dates and lots of other great
info.  As far as if broccoli will start from seed ok in the heat of
summer, to be grown for a fall garden, I don't know.  I too would like
to have broccoli this fall in my garden but have never grown it.  Anyone
else out there know?
