Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi, I am Deb, and have been lurking for about 3 weeks now. I homeschool
my 11yod and 8yos, and SFG is part of a curriculum we are using. I will
be using it by the book next year, but decided to jump in and give it a
try to learn from our mistakes this year. Our garden is so small. 9ft.
by 11ft. We put in corn at the end of the garden, and the crows got it
all. We have four cabbages, and came home from a week away to find them
full of holes. The peas have only stems left ... no leaves, no
nothing. The lettuce is coming (planted it late). Also planted the
carrots late. The tomotoes are beautiful. I never got the beets and
swiss chard planted!!!
Is it too late?? I also would like to replant the peas ... I am in
Upstate NY ... whatever zone that is.
I have gleaned a lot from you all these weeks. I love this list!!
Blessings,
Deb
