Re: New to List

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Hi Deb!

We homeschool as well, and you will find that your kids learn some
great things by gardening. It's been wonderful for us!

Depending on how upstate you are, you are probably either zone 4 or
5 (I am in NH)

Sorry to hear that your crops didn't work as planned, but yes, there
still is time! Do you have any idea what got to your peas? Or did
they just not come up right? Sometimes it helps to get netting to go
over your garden, and with a small space, it wouldn't be too
expensive. You can also try some container plants if you have the
space on a driveway or deck or something. I have several in my
driveway, because they get full sunlight there. So far they are doing
ok! You can also plant green beans right now if you get short season
ones. I got some wonderful mini veges seeds from Johnny's, and they
ship very quickly.

Good luck, and just keep trying!

Missi
