Bougainvillia trellis?

    We recently had a fence go down in a wind storm. It was the support for
a large bougainvillia trunk. We cut back the vines and it has now resprouted
quite nicely.
    Now, what is the best kind of support? I'm pretty sure the standard
trellis would be too flimsy. Any ideas?
