Margaret- Seems like all that soil and compost would have cost as much as
the exavator!LOL! You will be glad when in a few years you have the best
soil on the block. I did my raised beds lasagnia style but dealt with the
same problem- crushed red rock over black plastic in a moblile home lot- in
seemed to go down forever all mixed with dirt-eeck what a mess. my vegies
are doing fine in their raised beds- just have to water everyday- Now the
fun begins for you- PLANTS!-Good luck-Teri
