   I didn't see any other replies so I will try to help.  Based on a past
discussion you must get some kind of support under your vertical melons.
Otherwise they might break from the vine before they are ripe.  The previous
discussion suggested everything from pantyhose to bras be used to hold them
up.  Actually any kind of sling to a good support should do it.  Even so if
you can place some straw mulch under them to cushion them if they fall they
might still be useable.  Those that are not can go in the compost heap.
