If it were me, i'd go with bush beans. I love snap beans and kids seem to
like them too. You can fill two squares now and then wait two weeks and do
the last two that way your harvest is extented.
Bush beans germinate and grow quickly and the kids would probably love to
plant them and watch them grow. Then they will be more likely to eat them
since they participated.
Mel suggests 9 per square, I have also done 4 per. The verdict is out on
which is better. I'll know in about 4 more weeks.
