Re: Bug question

Dear Stephanie,

The bug sounds like the good ole squash bug to me. I had much trouble
with them in my garden here in zone 8. They spread a wilt which will
become apparent if they are not dealt with quickly. The plants will be
flat on tye ground one day when it hits.

I got around these pesky critters by planting my squash in the fall
instead of the spring so as to get around their natural life cycle. They
also love cucumbers as well.

Hope this helps,
Dave
