I don't have a good answer as to a gentle weed killer, but I have
noticed that over the past three years the clover in my lawn has outcompeted
the unwanted "weeds" in my entire lawn. Right now I have a white carpet of
clover flowers low enough to be spared by my lawnmower and loved by a variety
of bees and bee-like insects. I don't think our conditions would be
dramatically different as I am located in Lackawanna county around Scranton,
so maybe patience is all that is needed. I don't think weedkillers are that
selective, but I'm no expert since I've never used them. Weed is such an evil
sounding name for the product of a misplaced seed!!!
GOOD LUCK, HLP3
