Hi, Ants don't do too much damage, but are a food source for the Texas Horned Lizzard which is endangered, due to the lack of food supply (ants, or at least that's what I've heard). Seems people keep killing off the ants. Now you may not live in TX, but it's just possible that those ants are to be some lucky frog's dinner. Think about it?
