Dear gardening folks, Ants in the garden I know about. Last year they were all over my okra blooms. When you harvested okra you also received an arm of ants. Theyy were on the pea blooms as well and aphids were bad in my peas. The greatest destruction was in my field corn I raised for meal. The ants totally ate 1/4 acre of corn. When harvest time came there was nothing but powder in the husks. The husks looked filled out but nothing but a clean cob inside. This year they do not seem to be so bad as last. Love gardening ants and all, Dave On Tue, 24 Jun 1997, Westaway, Shawn wrote: > Hi Scott, you wrote: > > >How can i get ants from invadeing my meager garden space? > >when i water many ants come out along from the edgeing. > > Are the ants bothering anything?
