Hi Scott, you wrote: >How can i get ants from invadeing my meager garden space? >when i water many ants come out along from the edgeing. Are the ants bothering anything? We have ants all over our veggie garden, and they don't seem to do much damage. Awhile back we had a long thread about ants in compost piles, and I think the upshot was that you can't really get rid of them, but if you turn the pile often, it disturbs their nest and they go elsewhere. I know ants often farm aphids, and if you dislodge the aphids they have to start all over again, so you might look for aphids, or maybe even whiteflies. I don't know of any ant barriers that people have used and said worked. Anyone else out there have advice?
