Did anyone have trouble with their potato crop this spring. I planted 10 lbs of nice certified seed potatoes on prepared soil and then forked several inches of loose hay over the bed around March 1 (zone 8). They never came through the hay for the most part. I checked a couple of times and there they ywere looking the same as the day I placed them in their rows. Does anyone have a possible explanation for the sorry start of my potato crop? Thanks for the help, Dave Loffer sloffer@tenet.edu *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
