Where are you from Dave? I didn't get mine in the ground until the
first weekend of June and I can't keep up with them now! I'm in MA
and we had a really cold/raw/wet spring and I lost a lot of my seeds
that I put in memorial Day weekend. I had to replant all of my peas,
bean, melons and cukes. Now everything is doing just fine. I think
that the soil was just too cold here and my seeds rotted or the birds
feasted! Did you dig up one of your potatoes to see if it had rotted?
I see you're in zone 8. I'm zone 5, so your potatoes should be doing
a lot better than mine and I've had to cover them at least twice a
week! Did you have similar weather this spring?
