I would like to know how many on the list have a fence sourrounding their vegetable gardens. It seems as thouggh the better the soil the more my garden is bothered by the creatures of the night. The worms are so numerous and large in my beds that armadillos come there each night and dig in them for this tasty fare. I suppose I shall have to break down and build a fence at long last even though I wish I didn't have to. I suppose it is just a matter of time before the neighbors cows get out and eat the whole shabang in one sitting.
