Anybody ever try using raingutters as flowerboxes? I've asked a few
raingutter makers if it would be possible to make an 8X8 inch gutter
with standard gutter bending equipment and haven't heard back yet.
Thinking about using copper. Any thoughts on copper's effect on plants?
I want to wrap several decks and other areas of my bldg. with flower
boxes and it gets expensive quick.
With a raingutter type box I could run a drip line or soaker hose
through the gutter and put it on a timer so I never have to worry about
watering. Any thoughts on what to put in the bottom for drainage? This
is a project for next spring so I have plenty of time.
I also want to wrap 3 bay windows in the front that get sun all day
long. Wonder if they could make it as a 1 piece unit?
Thanks,
AG
