Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
When the util company hired a contractor to come through the countryside,
mulching up the big trees that interfere with the power lines, I got
several truckloads of chips. These are very large 'chips' however. And, the
piles were filled with poison ivy vine shreds and chips, so handling them
was tedious at best.
They worked in July and I don't have any idea how those poor guys kept from
constant poison ivy exposure. But, the good side is that prior to that, the
area ele used to go off at every dark cloud passing over. Now it takes
quite a storm to knock out the lines, so they did a great deal of good with
that pass.
