Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi,
I use old or new scrap carpeting that we generated or friends, family or even
strangers who put it out to be hauled away . I just cut it to fit my paths
and lay it down---simple, simple, simple. It lasts a long time and every few
years I add another layer( it doesn't break down fast but it does break down)
by now I have quite a solid path and if any weeds pop up at the edges they
pull quite easily. If the paths gets wet the carpet gives some traction, but
don't let a lot of soil stay on the carpet or when it rains you'll have
slippery mud.
Hat's how I do it.
