Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi,
I'm confused. I was told early on in my gardening experience that you
should pinch out the onion flowers as soon as you see them so that the bulb
isn't used up to produce seed(onions grown from sets)and form a hard tough
core. I have always done this---with leeks that over-wintered as well. Am I
wasting my time and effort. I know many of you are a lot more savy than I ,
so can someone settle my mind on this one. I sure won't miss all that
pinching if it's not needed.
Hat's all for now.
