Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Went on vacation for a little over a week and just got back late Sun.
night. (Still wading thru 267 emails -- mostly sq ft ones!!!!)
However, apparently I missed some suckers at the very base of my tomato
plants. When I checked the garden out late Sun night those suckers were
about a foot to a foot and a half tall!!! They already have a nice crown
of leaves at the top of the sucker plant which looks ready to flower in the
not to distant future.
Question is -- can I still remove this sucker without harming the main
tomato plant and if so, is there a method to starting this sucker and
turning it into a new plant?
Thanks in advance!!
