Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hello:
How can tell the difference between a gopher hole and a mole hole. I have
two holes in my garden about a bit larger than a golf ball (maybe two golf
balls). It went under some onions and the onions are gone. But nothing else
in the garden was effected. The lettuce is fine, tomato plants, broccoli,
herbs, peppers are all untouched.
I put a organic solution in the holes this morning for moles (caster oil,
dishwashing liquid, and water) in hopes that it is a mole.
If it's a gopher I hear they are really tough to scare away. I going to
fence in the place this weekend, but I know gopher can be persistant even
with a fence in place, planning on bending it back about 6 inches.
Has anyone tried the whirlly toys for scaring them off?
Were could I find some?
Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dusty
