Safer makes good stuff.
Soap is CONTACT pesticide .. you must see the critter and zap it for the soap to
work.
BT is biological .. you spray or dust it on the vegetable and the pest eats a
bite or two and becomes sick ... eats no more ... and dies in a few days. Humans
are not infected by the bacillus (the B in BT) .. so it is a safe product and the
product of choice for many caterpillars and worms. Bagworms .. tent caterpillars
.. and many others are susceptible to BT when they are young.
