I usually spend about half an hour watering once during the week (cup
and bucket style) and 2-3 hours on the weekend watering, weeding, etc. 
In addition to the sqft veg garden I have roses, flower beds, etc, but
hubby mows the lawn.

Some weekends I seem to go looking for reasons to dig in the garden.  If
I am absolutely pressed for time I will water and harvest as
appropriate, to keep up yield.  Sqft keeps weeding to an absolute
minimum and I don't have any serious pest problems, so I'm very lucky.
