Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
This may seem an odd set of questions, but I'm
trying to get more organized about my gardening now that my house is getting
under control. I'm wondering how much time you-all spend on gardening
during the growing months, and how you divide it up. If you run short of
time or energy, what are the high priority things you feel you must absolutely
keep up with. What things do you feel you can safely put off? Do you
have a daily, weekly, monthly schedule that you follow? The only thing I'm
really being consistent about is doing a good watering once a week if there
hasn't been rain. And the veg bed and rest of yard show it. Any
advice welcomed.
BTW, using a search engine, I found an article
in American Demographics that said most gardeners (60%) spend about 5 hours a
week, and then more serious gardeners range up to 15 hours a week. (This
includes lawn care.) I wonder where Square Foot gardeners fall, since we
are using time- and labor-saving methods.
