Re: Ants terrorize children

I can't verify that this will work as the only ants that terrorize us seem
to be carpenter ants, busily eating our house!  But, I've read that you can
pour boiling water down the ant hills... supposedly this will kill them,
and the ones it doesn't kill, will be encouraged to relocate...  Has anyone
else tried this?  How did it work?  Certainly more "user friendly" than the
poisons, especially where children will be working in the dirt!
