Nor do I.
Anyway, about ants: Rotenone is a short-lived insecticide that is safe on
on edibles. It will kill ants that are actually sprayed with it.  It will
also kill fish, so do not let it get into ponds, streams or lakes.
Another, and whackier, solution is to use Tanglefoot or other goo material
on a raised edge all around your sqft garden area or raised bed.  IMHO,
gardeners who use raised beds have fewer ground-related insect problems
than those who do not.  Ants are mostly in there to harvest the "honey"
produced by aphids, so if you get rid of the aphids you will get rid of the
ants--uh, for the most part.
