Dear Dan and JC,

Thanks so much for the information.  I didn't know about the plants.
Think I will try a little of all 3.  Another question, if Vidalia and
Walla Walla onions are so sweet because of the soil in those places (I
heard it had to do with amount of lime in the soil), then would they be
as sweet growing elsewhere?  Seems odd to me, sort of like trying to
grow oranges in Tennessee - just doesn't happen :)
