>I remember seeing the question last week about strawberry spacing, but don't
remember seeing an answer. Checked the archives and can't find it there,
either.
Anyone got a spacing to recommend?

*From the Mother strawberry, to the end of the runner... But seriously
folks...
That's an easy question. Let's make it harder. Does it matter, depending on
the type? Say, a big upright Squeoia, versus a Quinalt?
I see 12x12 (12x36 initially) with same on two sides, IF you do a row and have
1 runner each side. 12x18, if you space (18x36 initally) at 18" and have 2
runners on 1 side, 1 on the other, and alternate... (3 runners per plant.)
Comes down to 12x12. PLUS space reserved, if you will keep runners. Could be
an off center lettuce, later sacrificed for the space.
