I would think that the solar heater unit would make the
temperature a lot higher than just the roof alone. I guess time will
tell. (It's not like I'm doing this anytime soon...)

and even with a healthy mix of cold water, it was far too hot for a shower. I think a barrel of it would take a long time to cool to plant-tolerable temperatures.
