I'm new to sq ft gardening and new to the maillist and
very enthusiatic about both!
I wanted to get some wisdom on summer squash. I've
never grown it before since I alway felt that I didn't
have enough room in my garden. Last fall I built some
raised beds and I'm planning on growing some
eight-ball zuchini and yellow crookneck squash
vertically. Has anyone done this or something similar?
Since I've never grown squash I don't know what to
expect.
Just in case it matters, I live in the SF bay area
where summers are mild but my garden has a Southern
exposure.
Thanks for any tips!
Ruth
