Re: Introducing Ourselves

I have been gardening "by the seat of my pants" for about 30 years.
After reading some of the posts on the list, I've been wondering how I
ever got anything to grow. I learned my gardening from my Grandmother
and she from her Mom and Grandmother so my methods are more ancient than
new.

I have had everything from a huge garden to containers on a balcony. I
am currently living in a rented house in the city and due to the nature
of the lawn and the fact that I rent, I am still container gardening. I
hope to be able to purchse some acreage in the near future, and if this
comes to pass, I will again have a good sized garden which I plan to
plant according to the square foot method. I also will have a greenhouse
since I grow what I sell.

I am enjoying this group a lot but am glad to see that someone else
gardens like I do.
