Introductions and other sqft list business

First,
Folks, we have over 600 subscribers. Please, please don't feel
the need to introduce yourself, except in the context of describing
your situation as it pertains to a specific question or answer!!!
While I'm very happy to read that some newcomers don't feel
intimidated about asking "dumb" questions, please keep your postings
relevant to sqft gardening questions and answers. This isn't
a chat room. On the other hand, please don't let this message
stop you from posting anything that *is* sqft gardening related,
however 'newbie' it might seem. Although try to check the
FAQ and other pages first at:
   http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html

Second,
I am going away for a week and will have limited email access.
So a quick recap of basic listserv commands.
Send all of these as single lines in the message body to:
   listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu
NOT to the sqft address.
To unsubscribe:
   unsubscribe sqft
To change to digest format:
   set sqft digest
To temporarily stop receiving list mail:
   set sqft nomail
(to turn it back on is "set sqft mail" or "set sqft digest' as you prefer)

If you are having trouble unsubscribing because your hostname
or address has changed (the listserv says you aren't a member),
please send email directly to me (NOT to the sqft list):
   silvest@umslvma.umsl.edu

with the following *subject* line (and a normal explanatory note in the body):
  Unsubscribe me from SQFT
I will make a point of checking for that subject when I can get access.
