My cukes also suffer from the wilt, but usually after most of the fruit has
matured and the plants are dying off anyway. But I've never seen
a cucumber beetle on them...

I was very happy with my thousands of tennis ball sized tomatoes
last year!

I had the same problem with a lot of my corn ears last year, but
there was no pollination problem, and there were enough corn
plants in close proximity to insure pollination. I was told that
it was a crowding problem, with not enough nutrients available to
fill out the ears....
