You are an excellent gardener, Francine!
Maybe this is the ultimate reason why you get better results?
You just care better.
To give you some background -- and don't take me wrong: Planting during
the full moon is _not_ correct, it may be even the wrongest what could be
done in the theory of moon phases, depending on the plant type. Much more
important in "planting according the moon" than full or new moon is the way
of the moon orbit towards the upper or the lower node. In short, if the moon
is low at the sky when staying in south, it's in the lower node, if it is
high, even just above your head, it's in the upper node. That is not directly
dependent on full or new moon! Now, in biodynamic gardening, _this_ is the
important thing. And, depending on the type of the vegetable, it is good
or bad to plant during this time. Biodynamic gardeners are the gardeners with
the best results. But if the weather is too cold or wet, they plant later.
Because, after all, the most important for a plant still is soil, water,
warmth and light, that means, good care.
