I don't have a bottle of spectracide on hand but suggest you read
yours very carefully, as it it a violation of law to use an insecticide
in a manner inconsistant with its labeling.
Drenching the universe with diazanon (sp?) may solve a short
term problem with grasshoppers, but who will care when we are extinct
from our misuse of this little planet.
I suggest that you check with your coopereative extension
office and see if they have any suggestions for controlling
grasshoppers and also get their read on IPM. Total war is not
necessarily the answer to a nibble or two.
