Dear Jim: There is quite a varity of row covers. Everything for spun boned polyester, to slitted poly. What you want to use depends on the application you are looking at. The stuff will last several seasons, with care. you can find it at most farm supply stores(local) or order it. Two companies I know that care it are Johnny's Select Seeds, Albion Maine or Peaceful Valley Farm Supply, Grass Valley CA. I am not puting a plug in for these companies. James Haley Dreamcather Farms
