Re: Seeking Wall-O-Water info...

Hello, all...
I've been reading your notes for about 6 weeks and am just now getting up
nerve to reply.

I have tried Wall-o-Water many times, and they do give a head start to
tomatoes, especially. First I fill the walls and let the ground warm for a
couple days. They need to be supported from the inside sometines. I use
bamboo stakes.

I also use a syringe to add a few drops of clorox to the cells. This
helps when cleaning and arrents algae.

According to the literature, " walls" will protect down to 16 degrees,
however, I have never tested this temperature. I do believe that I get
about a three week head start in our zone. Last average date of frost is
April 15th.

Good Luck!
Shirley
