Answering Laura Archbald re my bonemeal / BSE post

I've found the message resting comfortably in my outbox, and I send Laura a
copy via the Forwarding mechanism in Eudora.

Another lister wrote to me the day after my bonemeal / BSE message to
request permission to place that statement on his personal Webpage.  Of
course, I said yes, but because I identified myself as a USDA employee, I
adjured him to print the message *exactly* as I wrote it, without editorial
comment or any alterations.  This is essential because I could be taken
badly to task by the government if alterations introduced any errors into
the message identified as mine, and by affiliation, theirs.

Another Square Footer wrote me very recently to say that my note was posted
on the MGARDEN list.  I'm not on that list and did not receive any inquiries
from them.  All this information-sharing is use of the Internet at its best.
But again, if any others who saw my original want to repost it elsewhere,
please let me know where you are sending it and please don't change anything
in it.
