I used the epsom salts in water (gosh--1 TB per gallon, maybe?) recipe last
year that several people here posted, as a topical spray on my cantaloupe.
First year I ever got a crop to maturity! I'm calling it a winner. Be sure
and start in on 'em when they're young. I did it once a week or so.

I left out the horticultural oil after looking at the labels on the oil my
feed store had available to buy. I don't know what kind of organic products
are available, or what substitutions might be made, but mine worked fine
without oil.

Haven't tried it myself but I certainly have had experience with powdery mildew
and grey molds ... tried Safers Fungicidal Sulphur without much avail, so I'm
going to try this one next time.
