Thanks everyone for the replies on potatoes in plastic.  Sounds like really
mixed results, but I guess I'll give it a try, as I have a small bag of
seed potatoes which have already sprouted in the closet.  I think I'll also
try starting some this fall to see if I can get better yeilds that way.
We'll see what happens:)
