RE: Grass in Big D


I recently killed off most of the St. Augustine and added Buffalo Grass
sod. Buffalo grass is a bred strain of a native prairie strain, so it is
well adapted to the area.   The buffalo grass is very very drought
resistant and stays short.  Only bad thing, it is not shade tolerant at
all.  needs full sun.
