Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi there. Does anyone know if you can use yard clipping that have been
chipped and shredded as a mulch right away or do you have to compost it
first. All of the material is disease free and is a nice texture, but
it is still raw material, not broken down or anything yet.
Thanks for the advice. I need lots of mulch in my yard and I can't
afford to buy compost (the bagged kind) this year like I normally do and
my homemade compost is never enough.
Any other ideas for mulch would also be appreciated. I don't have a
lawn to use as mulch material. And unfortunately I don't know of any
cheap waste products from processing plants around here. I live in a
very urban area. THough from previous posts on this list about mushroom
compost made me wish I lived near a mushroom processing factory.
